UPSSSC VDO: PET, village-development context और post preparation handbook
UPSSSC VDO (ग्राम विकास अधिकारी) की तैयारी को केवल “UP GK पढ़ लो” तक सीमित करना अधूरा है। VDO post के लिए recruitment notice, PET-related condition, written preparation, documents और post understanding—सभी अलग काम हैं। यह page आपको इन कामों को सही order में रखने में मदद करेगा। कोई old VDO advertisement या old paper current eligibility/pattern का proof नहीं है; current official UPSSSC advertisement ही final source है।
VDO recruitment file: पहला काम
नई VDO vacancy दिखे तो पहले UPSSSC की official website से direct PDF लें। post name और advertisement number मिलाकर ही file save करें। फिर अपनी recruitment sheet में यह लिखें:

VDO post को context में समझें
“ग्राम विकास” शब्द देखकर केवल schemes की names रटने की कोशिश न करें। गांव, स्थानीय शासन, agriculture/rural economy, basic public services, geography और state administration के broad relation को समझना अधिक उपयोगी foundation है। कोई exact job duty, departmental rule या current scheme detail official recruitment/department source से ही लें; इस guide का लक्ष्य आपको concepts और study discipline देना है।
VDO preparation के मुख्य subject blocks
UP GK: geography से administration तक
State map, rivers, regions, districts, agriculture, forests, history, culture और administration को connected way में पढ़ें। UP GK में complete handbook है। VDO aspirant के लिए विशेष रूप से regional geography, agriculture/rural context, districts, local governance और state development themes समझना उपयोगी foundation है। प्रमुख नदियाँ से शुरू करें और map notebook बनाएं।
सामान्य अध्ययन
Constitution और local governance, India geography, science, economy, environment और history को basic concept level पर मजबूत करें। पंचायत/स्थानीय निकाय जैसे topics को role-map में रखें; scheme/current data को dated official source से अलग note करें। सामान्य अध्ययन में सभी GS domains का study order दिया है।
हिंदी
हिंदी को daily small module में रखें: spelling, grammar, word formation, sentence correction और vocabulary. सामान्य हिंदी से rule, examples और mistake notebook का method follow करें। नियमित 20–30 minutes, महीने में एक दिन की bulk study से बेहतर है।
गणित और reasoning
Arithmetic में percentage, ratio, average, profit-loss, work और speed-distance जैसे basics को steps के साथ करें। Reasoning में series, coding, relation, direction, arrangement और logic को question families में बाँटें। गणित और रीजनिंग की error-copy methods अपनाएं; यही improvement का evidence देती हैं।

PET score और VDO post को कैसे मिलाएं?
पहले अपना PET record अलग रखें: scorecard details, registration details और official PET references। फिर VDO advertisement में PET-related wording देखिए। क्या condition लिखी है, कौन-सा PET year/score कहा गया है, और बाकी eligibility independently पूरी है या नहीं—इन तीन questions का answer PDF से खोजें। केवल PET देने या score रखने से VDO eligibility automatically confirm नहीं होती।
application और documents
Form भरने से पहले eligibility instructions पढ़ें, फिर original documents से name, date of birth, qualification and other applicable details मिलाएं। category/domicile/other certificate conditions हर candidate पर एक जैसी नहीं होतीं; only the latest VDO notice decides. upload instructions, photo/signature standards और correction window को application sheet में अलग लिखें।
common VDO preparation mistakes
- PET page को VDO recruitment notice का substitute मान लेना।
- UP GK में map, district/region और agriculture context को छोड़ना।
- local governance/schemes की old information को current मानना।
- Hindi/reasoning को केवल exam से पहले के week पर छोड़ना।
- notice पढ़ने से पहले form/document decision लेना।
daily study formats
तीन घंटे की तैयारी में 75 minutes UP GK/GS, 45 minutes maths/reasoning, 30 minutes Hindi और 30 minutes error/revision रखें। समय कम हो तो 90-minute format अपनाएं: 35 minutes knowledge, 35 minutes practice, 20 minutes recall/errors. सप्ताह में एक दिन केवल map, timelines, formula sheet और source register के लिए रखें।
